NORA 1. had an advantage at the start and, showing the most speed, raced into a long lend at once, but began tiring in the last sixteenth and barely lasted to win. I.ADY LANTA, close up from the start, came with a rush when ridden hard and finished much faster than the winner. EXQUISITE began from an outer position and was kept under restraint in the first quarter, then came fast when called on, but tired slightly. LILLIAN T. , also away well, raced close up to the stretch and tired. SHASTA PEAK dropped back after going a quarter. PEACH ROSE tired. MARY FRANCES was away poorly. LITTLE GUINEA ran a fine race nnd finished fast. ETHEL SIIER- ! LOCK made up ground and raced well through the final drive. COLONEL SCHOOLER closed a gap and finished well. EDGEWATER suffered from interference. KNAVE OF CLUBS quit badly in the last eighth. FEESETII was in a jam most of the way. MISS CHINIQUY began well, but her rider was nearly unseated at the start, then raced into thiol place, but tired. GERA B. tired after going well for three-quarters. FOREHEAD was far hack all the way.
