Gentry purchased the three-year-old I. Davis at private sale from the former owner, C. W. Moore. Gentry wished to withdraw I. Davis from sarting in the second race, and paid the scratch fee in order to do so. Jockey E. Shropshire, who suffered a broken collarbone in a recent fall with the horse Billy Doran, was released from the hospital and made his. first appearance at the track this morning since the day of the mishap. C. II. Trotter got In with a shipment of horses from Latonia, and this morning he registered the following under his own name : Lucky Drift, Purple Light, Turn Over, and Brookdale Miss. Hal Price Ueadleys Helens Babe reached Fairmount Parle, coming here to fulfill her engagement in the ,0u0 added in the Stat-ler Hotel Handicap Saturday. W. J.
