COLONEL SETH was forced to race on the outside, but close up to the stretch turn, then coming over to the inside, took the lead and won going away. CLAY PIGEON took third place in the first half mile, then began fo-Ong the pace and, racing well in the final drive, outfinished the others. PLAY HOUR showed early speed and was shuffled lack, but came again at the end, easily outfinishing SHERIFF SET1I. The latter came through on the inside after rounding the far turn and raced into the lead, but quit in the last eighth. WHIZZING CLOUD showed early speed and raced well for the first half mile, then was done. Won easily; second and third driving. LUONYMOUS showed mti li the most speed and held sway throughout, but was hard ridden from near the end to hold VANQUISH safe. The latter was always in closest pursuit, raced VELA into defeat and, racing gamely, outfinished the othcis. DISCREET came fact on the inside in the last eighth and outgamed the tiring P.l.ESS HER HEART. The latter was away poorly, being almost left at the post, then closed a big gap. VELA was done after going the first three-eighths.
