| AURORA TURF NOTES [ t ■ $ AURORA. 111., May 25. The following jockeys, who have ridden during the Aurora meeting, will remain around the Chicago circuit, and go to Washington Park : J. Leyland, R. Deprema, P. Xeal, R. Ayraud, O. Laidley, E. Roehm, F. Halbcrt and F. Douglas. Jockey C. E. Allen, who is under contract to Chaffee Earls Wiltshire Stable, leaves Sunday, bound for Churchill Downs. Allen , will remain through the next week at Louisville, and is slated to ride the stables two-year-old Jim Dandy in a stake for juveniles ; at Churchill Downs on Thursday. Allen will later go to Fairmount Park and ride Naisha-pur, the Wiltshire Stables strong hope, for | honors in the Fairmount Derby. Jockey C. Landlot left for Bainbridge Park, where he will continue to ride for the stable , of Dire and Padgett. The stable of horses belonging to the Chicago , owner, J. H. Manheimer, were shipped from Aurora to Washington Park and Manheimer will be represented in the opening day feature, the Washington Park Handicap. The Betty Lou Stable shipped Voshell, Shasta Belle and others to Washington Park from Aurora. Adele W„ Bumpsie Ray, Supporter and the remainder of the Lyda Mae Stock Farm horses were also transferred from Exposition Park to Washington Park. The large string of racers campaigned at Aurora by J. J. Greeley, including those owned by F. Henze also, was another large consignment which joined the thoroughbred colony at the Homewood course. R. A. Leigh, who served as one of the placing judges throughout the Exposition Park meeting, leaves for Bainbridge Park, to assume official duties at that track. L. Y. Bellew, trainer for the J. C. Ellis stable, which raced at Exposition Park, will ship ten of the J. C. Ellis racers to Bainbridge Park in charge of M. P. Mattingly. Jockey W. Carroll goes to Bainbridge Park to ride for this stable. A division of the stable, numbering four head, will be shipped to Kansas City, Mo., for the Riverside Park meeting. Jockey M. Wimmer will go with this division, and ride at Riverside Park. Arthur E. Blanchard took entries this morning at Exposition Park for Mondays races at Washington Park. Trainer Charles Forrest intends racing J. R. Ledoux Pat Calhoun and Tom Kanty at Washington Park. Forrest secured stable room for his horses at Lincoln Fields. J. R. Ledoux, while motoring through Gary, Ind., this morning, met with an automobile accident and was detained there. His trainer, C. Forrest, was told by phone conversation with a doctor at Gary that Ledoux was not seriously hurt. Trainer J. B. Theall shipped the Lone Star Stable horses, headed by Roycrofter, and also Miss L. Copelands Quibbler and John T. D., from Aurora to Washington Park.
