m I FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES | $ . » COLLINSVILLE, 111., June 12. Jesse Bennett was a visitor at Fairmount Park Tuesday, came here from Washington Park. He came seeking a rider for the J. Spencer stable, now racing in Chicnpo. Spencer also handles the string of racers belonging to J. Marsch, Chicago millionaire contractor. Trainer J. S. McNamara sold at a private sale to E. E. Watson the two three-year-olds, Baritone and Pufe McClain, McNamara acting for the former owner of the pair, Kaleigh, of New Orleans. The five-year-old gelding Nairbec. a son of Troutbeck — Gibbs. has contested his last race. Niarbec was destroyed here this morning after his serious breakdown, suffered in the third race Tuesday. General manager C. Eruce Head will go to Chicago Friday night to attend a mtiting Saturday of the board of directors of the Illinois Turf Association. »
