T LATONIA TURF NOTES I $ . 4 LATOXIA, Ky.. June 12. Captain Donan. which A. D. Steele purchased from the Joliet Stable, is in training here. J. G. Chinn turned the three-year-old filly Vera C. over to J. It. Schuster to train. G. B. Senff, former state racing commissioner, has a two-year-old un.cxed son cf Star Hampton in training here in charge of Al Luzader. The youngster has been named Big Bird. The horses of the Huntingdon stable, whicn arrived here from Fairmount Park and were taken over by W. L. Drake, are Tempest, Melita, Emphatic, Beau Aspin and Aspin Lake. D. T. Morris reports that the racers of A. P. Canale, which he received from Now York a few days ago, are Pretty Michelle. IIii;h Score and the two-year-olds Frank Podcsta and Aimee Goldsmith. J. C. Shaw was authorized as agent for P. J. Gorman. At the termination of the local meeting Milton Heiser is returning to Louisville, where he will take up eight horses, the property of Y". F. Kncbeikamp. Five of the Knebel-kanip horses are yearlings, which, after being broken, will be turned out. The others are two-year-olds. a
