CRISTAR liked the going, set the early pace, then was headed entering the stretch, but came again gamely in the final eighth to win going away from PRINCESS EVOL. The latter, a keen factor, took the lead on the outside near the stretch turn, but tired and failed to withstand CRISTAR. JANE WII.-LIAMSON raced forwardly, saved ground and held PRINCESS ISABEL safe. The latter gained gradually for the entire way. Scratched— 37256 Nita. 115; 36837s Mothers Choice, 115. GAINESWOOD, at home in the going, overtook HASTY GIRL in the first three-eighths, drew away into a long lead to win as his rider pleased. DOCTOR GLENN began slowly but worked his way up gradually. DREAM LIFE also began slowly, hut closed up much ground and gained fast in the last cjuarter. HASTY GIRL showed speed to the stretch, but tired. LITTLE GUINEA, on the outside, waa close up for the first half mile. THISTLE BEAUTY, prominent from the start, challenged and took the lead from IMPERATOR in the first half mile and won easily. IMPERATOR set the early pace and hung on well after being headed by tiie winner and outfinished HIGH LIFE. The latter ran a good race and outgamed BILLY DORAN. The latter was ridden extremely wide on the turns and in the stretch and lost too much ground to be a fi-ctor. CHIEF SABATTUS fell lame and was eased up before entering the stretch. The latter challenged in the final drive, was held safe and tired at the end. CHATTER BLACK, by a big saving of ground on the inside in the stretch, gained much ground and got up to nose out UNCOMMON GOLD. The latter also gained considerable ground and finished fast. LOCNGER. racing forwardly, made several challenges, but was held safe, but outfinished ATOI. The latter raced into the lead for the first three quarters before tiring and held on fairly well.
