ADMIRES BLUE LARKSPUR Harry Morrisey Believes Bradley Star Is a Champion — Not Good in Mud. Every day Harry Morrissey, starter at Washington Park, who is to act in a similar capacity at Hawthorne, indulges in a mild broadcast respecting Blue Larkspur. Heedless of those who reminded him that he had predicted Blue Larkspur would win th. Kentucky Derby, Morrissey said : "Old timers have said for years that ita "horses for tracks and tracks for horses. Blue Larkspur, a long strider, could not do himself credit in the Kentucky Derby. Too much mud. But, one cannot get away from that horse on a fast track such as he had when he ran a mile in 1 :36 to win the Withers Stakes. "Blue Larkspur is a champion. I may not live to see another Man o War, but E. R. Bradleys colt is as good as Rcigh Count, and as good as many other three-year-olds regarded as being great. "Watch Blue Larkspur in the American Derby. Now, this is going to be a race that is a race. Plenty of real horses in it, but I lot.k for Blue Larkspur to turn in the fastest mile and a quarter in this race that has been recorded in many a day."
