McCULLOCH, well ridden and easily best, followed close up under restraint to the stretch, where he quickly disposed of LADY WITT and drew away to win in a canter. KEEPING TIME, hard ridden for the entire distance, showed an inclination to sulk, but kept well up and was racing gamely in the final stages. NEVER BUST, never far hack, made a resolute finish. LADY WITT had the most early speed, tired and swerved after five-eighths and just failed to last for third place. DAR-FUR began slowly and saved ground while working his way up. SUN LYNN tired. FIDDLER raced clear of interference, quickly opened up a big lead after reaching the turn and, continuing well, won easily. OVERBOARD, buffeted about shortly after the start, moved np approaching the turn and, holding on well, outstayed BIG STUFF. The latter, forced back in the first quarter, raced wide entering the stretch and closed a big gap in the final quarter. DEDICATE saved ground, hut tired in the stretch. EASTER MORN had no mishaps. The latter saved much ground on the turn and moved up menaciugly after reaching the stretch, but was overmatched. WOODLOT had early speed, dropped back after reaching the stretch and, although tiring badly, outfinished CASH PLAY. The latter raced wide and swerved repeatedly in the stretch. MASTER, always in closest pursuit of the leader, withstood challenges from FIRM UNDER and TOMMY and held on well. EIRE LNDER saved ground throughout, but lacked his usual belated speed. PRINCESS CAROLYN was hard hustled for the entire way and closed up some ground during the final drive. NIM THE NYMPH showed good speed from the start, but tired badly in the final eighth.
