The latter raced forwardly throughout, made a determined challenge when called upon and was wearing the winner down. BRICB was taken back under steady restraint, jumped well throughout, moved up in the final half mile when called upon and wore down the leaders to win well in band. DARKNESS jumped well and, kept close up under restraint, finished with good courage when called upon. TARAS HALL was forced to come around entering the stretch and finished fast. MARGARET CAL displayed high speed, saved ground and held on well. DOUBLE DOM gained some ground. KIM saved ground. BATTLE AX ran an even race. CLAIRDINE and HIGH GAME both quit at the end. She was disqualified. MURKY CLOUD responded gamely and was moving up fast when impeded. DIXIE DREAM was in clo*e quarters after passing the ellx.w and was bumped. SNOOZE showed early speed.
