1 TANF0RAN TURF NOTES s SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 14. Three horses, the property of the Oakmede Stock Farm, arrived from Calistoga, Calif., today. The trio are Ned Dennis, Westire and Sharon Lee. Beginning Monday S. R. Robert will replace W. R. Norvell as racing secretary. Norvell leaves for Columbus, Ohio, tonight. James F. Gallagher will serve as one of the placing judges next week. Jockey Delmar Trivett, who has been showing fine form in the saddle at this meeting, is much in demand. It develops that Bert Johns, assistant trainer for the Northway Stable, holds the papers on the boy. Word was received today that Bess Jones, which raced at Agua Caliente during the past meeting, had died of pneumonia.
