Start pood and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. UP began rapidly and, taking a winning lead leaving the back stretch, skirted the rail when making the stretch turn and canii away to win with plenty in reserve. PENNATE settled into his best stride after going an eighth and. -circling to the outside when forced wide on the -stretch turn, closed gamely, but did not threaten the winner. JIMMY JINGLE, hard hustled all the way, was tiring near the end 1 and barely lasted to stave off SUSTAIN. The latter broke swiftly, but met with slight interference when leaving the back stretch and was outrun thereafter. PRINCIPIO had good speed in the early racing, but lost ground entering the stretch. JAMISON had speed leaving the barrier and went wide when straightened out in the .stretch. KEN KLING was never a factor. Won handily; second and third driving. GERARD, steadied behind the pacemaker, gained fast when released from restraint, wore down GENUINE entering the stretch and. assuming command when reaching the final eighth, drew away when kept under urging. GENUINE had speed in the early racing, saved ground, but faltered when put to a drive. A IRADO, lacking early speed, saved ground throughout and came with splendid speed when fully in his stride. EQUATION went evenly in the early racing and was making up ground steadily at the end. ALGOL raced on the outside from the beginning and swung wide in the main stretch. FLIMSY, in close pursuit of the early leaders, continued with good courage in the final drive, wore down JIMMY MORAN slowly and outlasted the latter at the end. JIMMY MORAN rushed into a brief, lead, saved ground and. fought it out gamely. CHLO BOY, poorly handled, was taken up at the start and showed good speed to reach the leaders, Uejshak sent him through on the inside while in very close quarters and he raced as if clearly best. BETTY BEAU raced prominently in the early racing, but tired. SWEET SENTIMENT had speed In spots. MAESTRO and WU I LEA WAY had early speed, the former went lame and was eased up. GUN ROYAL, forcing a steady pace while under slight reserve in the early racing, went to the , front with a rush when reaching the final eighth and held STAND BY safe thereafter under urging. The latter improved his position steadily, closed gamely under pressure, but could not menace the winner. NED O., as usual, slow to get going and badly outpaced, closed resolutely when fully in his stride. YOUNG KITTY had good speed for the first five-eighths, tired and may have needed the race. The latter, reserved off the pace, gained fast in the last half mile and finished fast after making a wide turn in the stretch. DANGER SIGNAL raced forwardly and held on well after forcing the early pace. LENA M. was steadied in front, but was unable to keep pace when challenged in the closing stages. FAIR GOLD raced TURQUOISE and MOUNTAIN CRASS into defeat, but was unable to withstand the winners challenge. PRAIRIE GIRL saved ground throughout, but could not overtake the first two. MOUNTAIN CRASS was in close quarters leaving the back stretch and was forced to be eased back. AVEST AVIND was outrun. TURQUOISE quit badly. Scratched 165G9 Fenlight, 105: 4G478 Dublin Show, 112.
