I HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES f HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 14. Jockey R. Wolverton departed for Lexington, Ky., this morning, where he will ride as a freelance. L. McDermott has severed his connection, with the Dorwood Stable. He. left for Newj York to await the opening of the Jamaica meeting. The plater Clear Sky came out of his last-race slightly lame, which means that he will be temporarily on the shelf. Badges have been issued to 136 riders afc Havre de Grace. This is the largest number! of jockeys that were ever on the grounds at! this course. W. Shea has engaged jockey F. Dainty to ride Sandy Ford in the Dixie, to be run at! Pimlico. He is also negotiating with the boyj for first call on his services during the Jar! maica meeting. The horses that the Glen Riddle Farm wilL race at Pimlico will be vanned over from Havre de Grace. Samuel D. Riddle is of-the opinion that there is no better track in! America to get a horse ready over than Havre de Grace and it is for this reason that he decided to have trainer George Conwayl remain here. The Glen Riddle Farm has added a rather pretentious cottage to the! quarters occupied at Havre de Grace. Gleni Riddle barns are located down near the bay! adjoining general manager Edward BurkesJ place.
