FIELD FOR HARFORD HANDICAP Jock, Balko, Beacon Hill and Gun Royal Among Prospective Contestants in Todays 0,000 Feature at Havre de Grace HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 15 Today, at Havre de Grace, brings the running of the Harford Handicap, one of the most valuable of the early stakes on the eastern calendar. The distance is three-quarters of a mile, for a stake of 0,000 added. This will be the eighteenth running of this fixture, and the field indicated in the overnight entries is a strong one. The latter is coupled with The Heathen, which ran a splendid race in the Flash Handicap, at Bowie, his first start of 1930. The Heathen is weighted at 118, one pound under Beacon Hill. Gun Royal, which was one of the best performers in Florida during the winter and won the opening day feature here on Monday, is in with only 111 pounds up.. The veteran Earl Sande probably will ride in the Harford. He is scheduled to have the mount on On Her Toes, which is coupled with Battleship Gray as the Glen Riddle Farm Stable entry.
