REGISTERS HIS RACING SILKS Albert Sabath Soon to See Own Horses Competing1 Will Attend Lexington. Albert Sabath, vice-president of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association, has registered with the Illinois Turf Association his racing colors sky blue jacket, pink sleeves and cap. He is, with the assistance of Jake Loewenstein, completing details for campaigning seven two-year-olds in Kentucky and Illinois this season. The youngsters, now in training at Churchill Downs, will be inspected Thursday by the Chicago lawyer-sportsman, who has for the last year given attention to assembling a band of racers to become the nucleus of a pretentious stable. Sabaths idea was to have one or more horses wearing his silks in stakes at Washington Parks thirty-day meeting, opening May 2G. The American Derby, which will be decided Saturday, June 14, presented chief appeal in this connection, but the Derby idea was abandoned by reason of his inability to obtain desirable thoroughbreds. Before Sabath returns to Chicago he will accompany Loewenstein to the meeting at Lexington, where he will meet John C. Schank, president of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association, and Charles W. Bidwill, secretary. Messrs. Schank and Bid-will left Tuesday for Lexington by automobile.
