FORCED TO SPLIT RACE NEW YORK, N. Y., April 15. There will be seven races Thursday, the opening day of the United Hunts meeting at Aqueduct. Entries for the Introductory Purse, a four and a half furlongs race, for maiden two-year-olds, were so heavy that the race was split into two divisions. Forty nominations were received for this race. A purse of ,000 will be added to each division.
