DISTRACTION OUT NEW YORK, N. Y., April 24. Although it was generally understood that Distraction would be sent to Pimlico for his engagement in the Dixie Handicap Monday, Jim Fitz-simmons announced that he had decided not to go after that prize. The injury suffered by the horse when he was kicked at the post in the Paumonok appeared to be slight, but later the leg filled a bit and it was decided that the Pimlico prize be passed up.
