Carstairs of Philadelphia, one of the principal stockholders in the Miami Jockey Club, was a visitor for the day, the guest of Clarence Buxton. Francis Kelson, presiding steward on Canadian tracks, was a visitor, en route from California to his home in Toronto. The following were added to starter Cas-sidys schooling list: Sister Adele, Sir Ruley and King Charmer. Gallant Fox, the son of Sir Gallahad III. Marguerite, which Jim Fitzsimmons is training for the Belair Stud, and which will make this three-year-old debut in the "Wood Memorial, was brought over to Jamaica today. The colt was jogged around the track and was then led into the paddock and walked around. Fitzsimmons is a firm believer in accustoming his horses to strange surroundings before racing. John E. Madden, Jr., arrived, from Lexington, and inspected the horses which he and his brother have at Belmont Park. Madden will return to Lexington in the next two days. Kenneth P. Dawes of the Montreal Jockey Club was a visitor of the day. Jockeys L. McAtee and Kelsay, who went to Havre de Grace to ride in the Aberdeen Stakes, have returned from that point. Mrs. Philip McKJm, wife of the well-known clubhouse cashier; died at. her home, Bay-side, N. Y., yesterday morning. . , .
