LOWER FIVE BEULAH WINNER Golden Cloud Makes Runaway Race to Defeat Maidens in Columbus First. COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 24. Lower Five, a five-year-old gelded son of John P. Grier, won the William Hennick and Son Purse here this afternoon, defeating the recent winner, Agitation, Don T. and several other ordinary racers. This was run as the fifth race. Todays program was ushered in with the most one-sided result of the meeting when Golden Cloud, running for A. Bordeau, finished fifteen- lengths ahead of the next horse, which was Marie Stevens. Bunn Ouderkirk was third. Golden Cloud went away to a lead of six lengths before the others were well started. Unlucky was another to set his backers at ease without delay. Though he was tiring a bit at the end, he had a good margin over Frostilla Girl, while Benbarg had a close call for third place from Sun Dance, the favorite. Kinfolks won the third race, largely the result of a bungling ride on Big Bill Thompson, which closed fast and finished second. Mint Toddy was a tiring third.
