HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES e HAVRE DE GRACE, ild., April 24. The 2Uiss Blanche "Watson stable leaves for Chicago tomorrow. Several horses were taken off the schooling list and one added, Sedgie being the latest addition. General manager Edward Burke announced that the amount of added money to the Shenandoah Purse, to be run on Saturday, had been increased to ?1,500. Cog-Air, which came out of his last race slightly lame, has recovered from his ailment and has been placed back in training again. The departures for Pimlico this morning included the stables of Elmer Trueman, J. P. SIcGovern and J. "Woods Garth. Al Davis received word of the death of his mother in Dorchester, Mass., this morning and he made a hurried departure to attend to funeral arrangements. Sirs. Davis was 94 years of age. Black Diamond got the better of jockey Schaefer while being breezed this morning and bolted up the three-quarters chute. For-tuntely, neither horse nor rider was injured. The Greentree Stables two-year-old Surfboard was returned to Belmont Park this morning. Battleship injured himself while breaking from the stalls yesterday and was quite lame. The injury is in the horsers foot. "W. E. Caskey, Jr., reports the loss of the two-year-old Spiffy, by Westy Hogan, which died at Pimlico. Spiffy was a winner at the Miami Jockey Club meeting. Caskey had Philip and "William T vanned over from Pimlico this morning. After reaching Kentucky Caskey disposed of eight of the horses he raced at Miami. He now has five in his stable.
