FREEHOLD CELEBRATES NEW YORK, N. Y., April 24. When news of Vander Pools victory in the Aberdeen Stakes at Havre de Grace Wednesday reached Freehold, N. J., there was a bit of celebration over the event. It was at the Freehold Driving Club track that the son of Camp-fire Bramble Bose was broken in as a yearling and taught his first lessons. Freehold has for a considerable time been a popular winter ground for thoroughbreds and the course is in better condition now than ever before. It was there that both Black Maria and Pompey put in a winter and they both thrived famously.
