JOIN WESTERN STRING SAN YSIDRO, Calif., April 25. Three two-year-olds, all by imported Scamp, he by Son-in-Law, the famous English racer and sire, together with the Jim Gaffney filly Absurd, have arrived here from the Bill Bee breeding farm at Mansfield Center, Conn. They are the property of Willard Mack, the actor-playwright, and of his talented young wife, Beatrice Banyard, who race under the name of Bill Bee Stable. The new arrivals will augment the Macks string of racers, which are resting at the farm of trainer A. L. Jones preparatory to a summer campaign at Agua Caliente. Included in the band is Satin Spar, holder of the seven furlongs record of 1 :25V?; at the Mexican track.
