THREE DERBY HOPES RACE SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. NEWMARKET, England, April 25. Ten three-year-olds, among them several candidates for the Epsom Derby, met in the Column Produce Stakes, a one mile race, here Thursday. The favorite. Lord Howard de Waldens Bargany, was the winner. This son of Buchan Queens Company defeated A. R. Cox Sea Rover by a length and a half. Lord Astors Trews was third, beaten a head by Sea Rover. The first three horses at the finish are Derby hopes.
