MAKES IT FIVE OUT OF SIX Paquette Proving Star of Half Mile Tracks, Winning Race Over Route. COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 25. Paquette, the Pagan Pan filly, which runs for W. A. JIc-Kinney, continued her remarkably consistent racing here this afternoon when, by defeating several others of her age, she won her third straight on the Beulah Park track. Paquette has now won five out of her last six races. She was second in the odd race, which was at Wheeling, on a heavy track. Today the filly showed that she could go a distance and win almost as easily as she has won in sprints, as the route was a mile and seventy yards. Nearest to her at the finish were The Coach and Laguna. Todays fifth race, a handicap, was won by Peralta. Andresito was second and Dark Angel third. The French Rose, a Pataud French Lick filly, starting for the first time, won todays first race, which was for two-year-olds, over a distance of four and a half furlongs. She got to the front early and increased her lead gradually, winning handily enough from Nigricans which had a wide margin over Southern Cloud for the place. One of the longest shots of the meeting went over .when Rosabella, an eight-year-old King Goriif mare, won the second race. Outrun in the first part, she came very fast in the stretch and was going away after passing Antiquarian just before the finish was reached. The latter, tired and just did hold on to second place, Efeldee being very close up, though tiring. Golden Locks had early speed.
