t HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES - g HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 26. William Mulholland, who is training Mrs. Simpson Deans horses, has arranged to ship four of the eleven horses he has in training at Havre de Grace over to Pimlico. Jockey W. Curran will accompany the stable. Trainer C. Utz has signed jockey J. Shanks to ride for Foxcatcher Farm Stable. H. Erick-son is also under contract to the Du Pont establishment. W. A. Amberger added the plater Harvard, which he claimed from W. L. Brodie, to the string he will ship to the Canadian tracks. D. Harmon acquired the plater Jack Hawks-ley from W. H. Denham. Both horses were entered to be claimed for ,000. Jack Hawksley was reported to be none the worse for his gallop after the finish of his race. After bolting through the three-quarters chute he unseated Quackenbush and ran to his stable. Kosciusko is the latest addition to the schooling list. E. K. Bryson has disposed of the two-year-old Prince Chat, by Chatterton Roman Princess, to W. H. Denham. W. L. Brodie has bred the mare Fenlight to Sedgefield. It is his intention to race the mare in Canada until midsummer, when she will be returned to Maryland, and turned out at Griffwood Farm. Vena Rock was claimed out of the second race by M. V. Hartley for ?2,500. The platers Boo and Honeyman, which were turned out at Griffwood Farms, have been placed in training again by Bryson. The jumpers Lester W. and Flashes, which had been schooled through the Pimlico field this spring, have been sent to Timonium to be made ready for the Arlington Park meeting. The friends of Walter Sloper wdl be pleased to hear that he is recovering and that hopes are entertained that he will be up and about before the close of the Pimlico meeting. A week or ten days ago Sloper fell and wrenched both ankles.
