CARLOAD OFF FOR CANADA Horses Leaving Lexington for forOther Other Activities1 Plan New NewTraining Training Track LEXINGTON Ky May 14 A carload of horses intended for racing around the Cana ¬ dian circuit during the coming summer was shipped from here this afternoon The ship ¬ ment included Frank Boyd Jeffers Captains Daughter and Frances Grey B H Van Ars dales Instant in charge of W P Carroll and W A Baumgartners Thats All Joe McCord and Tom Proctor Van Arsdale ship ¬ ped the horse Old Pardner which campaigned at the recent Lexington meeting to Churchill Downs DownsJoe Joe F Patterson today shipped twelve horses to Belmont Park The horses have been in training at the Kentucky Association track here and are twoyearolds in the ma ¬ jority jorityDick Dick Denny who is training a string of horses at Louisville for Col Phil T Chinn accompanied the horses on the trip as Mr Patterson will remain in Kentucky to see the Derby DerbyAmong Among the easterners visiting in the Blue Grass pending the running of the Kentucky Derby are Mr and Mrs Walter J Salmon owners of Mereworth Stud here Adolphe X Phonse fiscal agent of the establishment Westbrook Pegler and Niel Newman news ¬ paper writers writersPatsy Patsy Dwyer trainer for Mr Salmon came here but left immediately for New York His purpose in making the trip with Mr Salmon was to go over the question of build ¬ ing a training track at Mereworth Stud Deci ¬ sion in this matter will be reached prior to Mr Salmons departure for New York YorkDr Dr T M Cassidy owner of Crack Brigade favorably mentioned for the Kentucky Derby George Bull president of the Saratoga Racing Association and Chas Thieriot leading Wall Street broker will be the guests of Col Phil Chinn preceding the running of the Derby
