ARTHUR J VARNEY DIES 1 LEXINGTON Ky May 19 Arthur J Varney 55 years old financial agent for Joseph E Widener died Sunday at noon at Mr Wideners Elmendorf Farm following a heart attack Mr Varney with his wife arrived here Saturday from Philadelphia for a short visit at Mr AVideners establishment Sunday morning however he complained of pains in his side and becoming worse died before medical aid could be summoned summonedMr Mr Varney had been in the service of Mr Widener for several years He is sur ¬ vived by his wife one brother Fred Varney of Boston and a sister Mrs Oliver G Mann of Woodford Maine The body was sent to Philadelphia this morning
