SPIRIT RIVER IMPROVING TORONTO Ont May 19 A G Weston was an arrival from Baltimore Weston who was one of the stewards at Bowie and Pimlico and who fills a like position at sev ¬ eral of the Canadian tracks reports that his promising twoyearold Spirit River is coming along fine At the conclusion of the Pimlico meeting Spirit River was taken down with an attack of fever He was shipped to the Walden farm at Middleburg Md where he will remain until fall when he will be taken up and prepared for the meetings in Maryland The other horses in the Weston Stable all of which he bred himself are here They made a good trip up from Pimlico and are stabled at Thorn cliffe
