The fillys ad ¬ vantage was shortlived for Star o Morn took the lead after the first quarter and well ridden by jockey G Arnold stalled off repeated challenges from CogAir all through the rest of the trip having a halflength advantage at the end Cog Air striving for his third victory on the local track was not beaten until after the most determined op ¬ position he could offer offerDAY DAY OF command soon after the start and maintained that to the final quarter where he tired tiredMaster Master Halligan proved best of the eight juveniles that visited the post for the five eighths third race when he won over Broad A Night Flash and five others It was the second winner for apprentice Buddy Han ford and his alertness at the barrier prac ¬ tically cinched the victory for he had the J G
