ONE CENT, away fast and showing good speed, drew clear in the first eighth, saved ground and, holding on gamely, withstood NAE BREEKS. The latter, forwardly placed, challenged gamely at the final eighth post and was slowly wearing down the winner. SKID, slow to get going, moved up fast leaving the back stretch, but could not menace the leaders in the final drive. SUNEROS, close up from the start, finished gamely. ROCKSLIDE closed a good gap. SUN MEDDLER was messed about at the start and raced wide. REDOUBTABLE quit.
