DOUBLE CHIN was ciose up throughout R. K. GIRL also raced forwardly. JOSEPHINE D. was shuffled back at the start and tired after making up ground in the first half. MONNIE raced forwardly throughout. PRINCE PAT gained ground in the last quarter. THOMAS SETH was in close quarters next to the rail in the early racing and was never dangerous. TITLE OAK was knocked off his stride after the start. GRAND DOE displayed early speed, but seemed to tire in the stretch. BRIDGEPORT raced into a contending position approaching the stretch turn, but tired in the last eighth. CHILLY FLIGHT raced strongly through the last quarter and was going well at the end. TRANSGRESSION was cut off on the far turn and showed a good effort to be a game going third. ULTIMATE VOTE was in close quarters on the back stretch and tired after meeting with interference on the far turn. LENA M. quit badly after being prominent for three-quarters. BILL PHILLIPS was started from outside the machine and failed to impress. TED HEALEY made up some ground. Scratched— 58291 Thrace, 106; 58469= Black Stockings, 97.
