WILL RETAIN FATHERS COLORS Special Cablegram. LONDON, England, June 17.— General satisfaction was expressed in sporting circles here when it became known through the weekly Racing Calendar that Dudley Barmato Joel had registered his colors under the Rules of Racing and National Hunt Rules, and has taken the silks of his late father, Solomon Barnata Joel — pink and green stripes, pink cap. Although all of Sol Joels stallions, broodmares, foals, yearlings and horses in training are to come up for sale at the Newmarket bloodstock sales, Dudley Joel intends to have some horses in training at Newmar*3t in the care of Walter Earl, who for seveJJ years acted as private trainer to his late father. All the horses of the late Sol Joel holding engagements in the near future will meet their engagements, running in the name of trainer Earl. It is possible that the yearlings from the late Sol Joels Maiden Erlegh Stud will come up for sale at the Newmarket first July meeting, and the horses in training be disposed of a fortnight later at the same venue. The sires, broodmares and foals will come under the auctioneers hatn-mer at the Newmarket December sales. m — -
