LUCKY TOM began slowly, worked his way up steadily and, coming through between the leaders, drew away thereafter. GALAPAN showed good speed from the start, bore out sharply on the turn and bumped PRINCEL and held on gamely to the end. CONTRIBUTE saved ground entering the elbow when the leader went wide and had no mishaps. PRINCEL, on the outside on the turn, was impeded by GALAPAN. SURF BATHER saved much ground. The latter showed high speed, saved ground and had no mishaps. MOWRIS began slowly, worked his way up on the inside and finished well. FERVOR, a factor throughout, had no mishaps. MORDEN had no mishaps. TRYANDAGAIN raced forwardly from the start. BRANDON ROSE had no mishaps. ZONDA raced well. PINTAIL was placed on the outside at the start and raced verv wide. SKYWAY, crowded back after the start, tired. BLUE TILE quit badly. MANCHONOCK was shuffled back on the far turn. AL NE1MAN showed early speed.
