ROSELYS, outclassing the others, took an easy lead at once, raced under restraint until straightened out in the stretch and was shaken up mildly to withstand GOURDIN. The latter, hard ridden throughout, shook off TICKLETOES and closed steadily in the final stages. BRIGHT ORB continued gamely in the stretch. TENDER BUD was always outrun. TICKLETOES quit badly. ACHTOI LASS, rated within striking distance of the pacemakers, came gamely in the final drive, wore down UVIRA and HAYTIME and. under strong pressure, just lasted. MARCHEUR, slow to get going, worked his way up on the outside, moved up on almost equal terms with the winner in the final eighth, but tired right at the end. VISIONARY raced forwardly throughout and outstayed the tiring UVIRA. The latter, used up racing with HAYTIME, quit fast in the last eighth. SNAP raced well in spots. CASTAWAY began fast, raced MONDE into early defeat, drew clear at the final eighth post, but had to be aroused sharply to withstand CARILINA. The latter, outrun for a half, moved up fast and closed with good courage. PATRICIA AGNES, hard ridden and on the outside throughout, finished gamely under punishment. ATTIRE, slow to get goinsr. finished resolutely in the middle of the track. LADS RUN raced well. MONDE showed early speed. TUSCAN KNIGHT tired badly when the real test came. CZARINA raced well. FLYING AMBASSADOR tired after seven eighths. BANAL GIRL had no excuses.
