SKULL CAP SAVES RIDER NEW YORK. N. Y., June 17.— The skull cap saved jockey G. Rose from serious injury when he fell from Porgie in the first race. The boy was struck on the head by the front foot of the horse. He was removed to Mary Immaculate hospital for observation.
