JEFFERSON PARK NOTES 1 $ . Jockey M. Wimmer had his first mounts since the Maryland season when he rode Dr. J. G. OMalley and Ima Dreamer here today. Dr. F. A. Wehle is returning to Lexington Saturday, but plans to return here for a good part of the Fair Grounds season. He has a few horses racing here. Misses Bee Mumfrey and Patsy McCoy presented the owner of the winner of the Studio Club Purse this afternoon with a silver service, gift of that local club. O. Viau reported that the filly Black Alice developed a badly filled leg shortly following her engagement Wednesday and that she may be inactive for a time. Apprentice J. Hernandez, local boy, who is among the best of the younger riders here, resumes riding Friday after a suspension for rough riding. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Sandel and Frank Steinberg, all of Chicago, are visitors and plan a weeks stay.
