DIZZY, away fast and showing speed, raced under strong restraint until reaching the closing half mile, quickly disposed of MUST HURRY and, drawing into decisive command, won easily thereafter. GAY PRINCE began sluggishly, lost much ground on the first turn, went to the outside entering the stretch and closed resolutely. PENN began slowly, was in the best going almost throughout and closed ground under urging in the closing five-sixteenths. MUST HURRY showed speed, was on the inside after the first three-sixteenths and tired after reaching the last three-eighths. SNOOKS and SCANDAL SHEET quit. Won driving; second and third the same. , DISTRESS SIGNAL, away slowly, improved his position slowly after going an eighth and, taken to the inside in the stretch and, overtaking BEIGE, drew out slowly. The latter showed good speed from the start, drew clear on the turn, was taken to the outside in the stretch and held on gamely after being overtaken. ALFAYE B., a factor throughout and under light restraint early, went to the outside in the stretch and tired in the drive, but outlasted LUCKY PAL. The latter had no mishaps and failed to respond when hard urged in the stretch. HIGH POCKETS showed a dull performance. DICK CHEVELY was racing well and in third place when he stumbled, unseating his rider on the stretch turn. GALLOPETTE, always close up, held on resolutely. FORGET NOT began fast, was taken back when in close quarters on the stretch turn and tired badly in the closing eighth. ZAILA closed ground. POLYLITH showed speed under energetic riding, but quit badly after going half a mile. ROBOT quit. Tha latter closed resolutely and but for bearing in sharply in the final eighth, might have been closer up. MISS ONINE showed speed from the start, saved ground and tired after five-eighths. GETTIN EVEN began slowly. GRAND PRINCE, away slowly and taken to the outside on the turn, failed to respond to urging. CLUB HOUSE was left at the start, but raced after the others and showed a good performance. ESTIN was always outrun.
