PLAN SANTA CRUSE MEETING SANTA CRUSE, Calif., Jan. 6. It is rumored in real estate and sporting circles here and at Del Monte, that a syndicate of six Californians, headed by Miss Marion Hol-lins, golf star and owner of a stable of race horses, is contemplating staging a twenty-one day race meeting at Santa Cruse during the summer months. A large tract of land within a short distance of the Pasatiempo Golf Club properties, which are owned by Miss Hollins, already has been acquired by the syndicate. Confirmation or denial of the rumors await the return of Miss Hollins from South Carolina, whence she is expected in about two weeks. .
