STAKES CLOSING FEBRUARY l.; Monday, February 1, is the last day for the mailing of entries to the stakes to bo run at the coming spring and summer meetings at Jamaica and Aqueduct. Racing secretary Henry C. Pebler is making strenuous efforts to have the number of entries exceed thoao of last year and reports favorable progress toward that goal. Entry blanks for the Jamaica fixtures may be obtained by addressing Metropolitan Jockey Club, 50 Court Street, Brooklyn, N. Y. Blanks for the events to be run at the Aqueduct meeting may be obtained by addressing the Queens County Jockey Clubj 215 Montaeue St.. Brooklyn. N. Y.
