l i i 1 . : " . , j 1 ; HIALEAH HANDICAP WEIGHTS Flying Heels Assigned 140 Pounds for Saturdays Feature Race at Miami Course. MIAMI, Fla., Jan. 26. J. J. Curtis Flying Heels, winner of the Inaugural but a failure in the Miami Beach Handicap, retains top impost in the Hialeah High-weight Handicap, the third of the eight stake events on the Miami Jockey Clubs program, the weights for which were issued today by racing secretary J. S. Wallace. The son of Flying Ebony is asked to carry 140 pounds, but the major contenders have been brought closer to him in the new allotment. Mrs. Herbert Pulitzers Repentance, surprise winner of the Miami Beach Handicap, in which Flying Heels finished fourth, is four pounds closer with 128; Mrs. John Hay Whitneys Lightning Bolt, second in that race, gets two pounds more at 126 and W. M. Moores Vander Pool, which was third, gets three pounds or 137. The Highweight Handicap carries ,500 added money and will be decided over the seven furlongs distance. It will be the principal offering of the week-end program which will be offered at Hialeah Park Saturday, January 30.
