I AGUA CALIENTE NOTES - 4 Because of the fact that Reveille Boy and McGonigle cut up so badly in the New Years Handicap, it is possible that a time limit will be put on those animals in the future, and if they fail to line up in a given period the field will be dispatched without them. Baron Long, who has been visiting in Los Angeles, returned to San Diego Monday. G. H. "Pete" Bostwick was an arrival at Agua Caliente Tuesday and inspected the steeplechase course. It is probable that he will accept a mount over the jumps before the meeting is concluded. Bostwick has several jumpers now at Pasadena. L. O. "Slim" Lee is of the opinion that he has a future handicap star in Joe Flores, winner of the Speed Handicap last Sunday. The colt seems to improve with each start. Several horses, including Gailmont, winner of two races here, were shipped to New Orleans Sunday.
