5 " FAIR GROUNDS TURF NOTES Joseph McLennan, racing secretary of the Arlington Park Jockey Club, is giving his personal attention to the distribution of nom-t ination blanks for the many stakes to be run during the coming meeting at that track, among horsemen here. McLennan will accept entries for the stakes for for warding to his Chicago office. Jockey H, R. Riley, who has been showing fine form in the saddle throughout the win- ter, was forced to cancel his mounts due to illness, but hopes to get back into action tomorrow. After a weeks illness, jockey Harry Roble, who led the riders last year, is ready to resume riding. Roble can scale as light as 102 pounds and should find work aplenty during the remainder of the Fair Grounds meeting. Phil Reuter, trainer of the stable of John Marsch, reports that Camp Boss and Zone and six two-year-olds, turned out since last fall, have been taken up by Johnny Jones and will be prepared for the coming campaign at Churchill Downs. The horses Camp Prince and Chief John, outstanding stars of the stable, will not be taken up before April 1, under present plans. Following the close here, Reuter will transfer the winter division of the stable to Churchill Downs. Jockey Charles Corbett is returning to Miami where he may affiliate with one of the stables there. Not unlikely, he may be re-engaged by Frank A. Carreaud, for whom, he rode with much success last year.
