I HIALEAH PARK TURF NOTES t - $ Employees during the reconstruction period at Hialeah Park, who will be guests of J. E. Widener and the Miami Jockey Club Friday, will receive their complimentary tickets from cars stationed near the north gate ticket offices on "Labor Day" afternoon. Each major contractor will have a car assigned to him and his employees will be issued two tickets each by the respective timekeepers. The state tax on these tickets will be paid by the association. Benjamin A. Jones has taken over the Herbert Woolf horses, succeeding Danny Stewart, as trainer of that establishment. Bad Times, a two-year-old from the Howe Stable, wore blinkers for the first time in the running of the second race today. Frank Kearns has shipped Athlone Lass, Chiefs Warrior and Westys Fox from Hialeah to Oriental Park, Cuba. W. P. Gilpin, nestor of the training colony, received congratulations from horsemen on the occasion of his eighty-first birthday. Noah McClelland, racing official in the western sector, was a visitor at Hialeah Park.
