FATALIST acted green at the barrier, but began fast and took command with a rush in the first eighth and was never menaced thereafter and won as his rider pleased. BLACK SIGNAL, prominent all the way, finished gamely in the stretch and held SANSARICA safe. The latter began slowly and, shuffled back on the back stretch, gradually improved his position on the outside and closed gamely. WESTYS LAD tired after showing early speed. CHILTENNY, away forwardly and hard urged throughout, finished resolutely under punishment. GAY ATTIRE was unable to improve his position. SIR ANTHONY had no excuses. CHICAGO GIRL, rushed to the front, saved ground on the first turn, was rated in front in the early stages, but was not equal to the winner when challenged. FAIR ALBERT came through on the outside. ALGARA saved much ground and closed a big gap. SOOTHER had a rough race and was in close quarters at the end. GENIAL HOST tired after going three-quarters. COOOO FOURTH RACE 7-8 Mile.
