AQUEDUCT COURSE HARROWED. Track Prepared for Workouts of Horses in Winter Quarters There Health Good. NEW YORK, N. Y.f Feb. 3. Louis Fraifc cis, superintendent of the Aqueduct course had to have the track harrowed this morn ing as horsemen wintering at the Queens; County Jockey Clubs plant have started their outdoor training. James Fitzsimmons who has been particularly busy with his; large string since his return from Florida last week, has sent his charges out every day with the exception of Monday and Tues day. Steve Lawler of the Quincy Stable, ig another who has taken advantage of th$ open winter and is going along steadily witH his charges. Horses wintering on Metropolitan tracks; this year are farther advanced in theirj training than they have been since Aque-i duct and Belmont Park have been in use as cold weather quarters. There has been no sickness of any account here this winter and all trainers report a clean bill of health for their stock at present. Francis stated yesterday morning that! all of the stalls at Aqueduct have been as- signed to forty-five owners for this spring He also said that he had assigned the horsed of several owners to the receiving karn4 where they will have temporary quarter during the spring meetings at Belmont Park and Aqueduct.
