HAGERSTOWNS DAILY PURSES BALTIMORE, Md., Feb. 18. Secretary Edward J. Brennan, of the Hagerstown Fair Association, stated here today that there will be no cut in the purses offered during the five-day spring meeting, beginning May 17. Two 00 purses and five 00 purses will be offered daily. The total distribution will be 5,000. This is an increase of ,000 over the total at Hagerstown last spring. Rules of the Maryland Racing Commission will govern the racing, which starts two days after Pimlico closes. Horsemen who desire to race at Hagerstown should file application for stalls at once with secretary Edward J. Brennan, 533 Equitable Building, Baltimore, Md.
