I FAIR GROUNDS . TURF NOTES Jockey Leo Canfield left for Louisville, where he. may affiliate with one of the larger stables at Douglas Park. B. E. Sparks purchased at private terms from the Sophia Lee Stable the plater, Al- bazano. Sparks will train him for future engagements. Patrick A. Nash, Chicago patron, was an arrival and with Mrs. Nash and their son, daughter and friends, who have been here for several weeks, will stay for the remainder of the season. John O. Keene returned from Lexington, where he spent a week directing the care of. the breeding stock at his Keeneland Stud Stable. G. Rice, trainer of A. P. Foleys Mardelle4 Mary McCarthy, Radiant Rose and Mario took out a license under the Louisiana Jockey Club and will resume racing the Foley charges, which were given a short rest following the Jefferson, Eark meeting
