WESTROPE SERIOUSLY INJURED AGUA CALLENTE, Mexico, Feb. 27. Latest reports from the Mercy Hospital at San Diego, state that jockey Westrope, who was injured Friday, had suffered a fractured skull, concussion of the brain, broken jaw and internal injuries. Dr. F. Schwartz, attending physician, stated, however, that he had hopes of pulling the lad through. Westrope is 16 years old and hails from Baker, Mont. He has been riding less than one year. His father and mother witnessed the accident.
