MOODY STAR IS NOMINATED Pittsburgher Named for Arlington Handicap, Gold Chip and Stars j and Stripes Handicap. Pittsburgher, hero of several notable turf battles here last year,, will be back this summer, it is promised by James H. Moody, who trains the lanky colt for Theodore E. Mueller, member of the Kentucky State Racing Commission. Pittsburgher, which lost the American Derby to Mate by inches and won the Fort Dearborn Handicap before going to Bowie, where he defeated a number of the Easts best horses in the Prince Georges Handicap, has been nominated for the Arlington Handicap, Arlington Gold Cup and Stars and Stripes Handicap, headliners of the thirty-day meeting at the beautiful North Side Chicago course starting June 27 and ending July 30. Nominations for these Arlington features as well as the 0,000 added Classic, Arlington Oaks, Arlington Matron Handicap and Hyde Park Stakes, are coming in steadily, it is reported by president Otto W. Lehmann, who believes practically all of the leading horses in America will be represented when toe final compilation of entries is made after the closing on March 15. Another important nomination is that of Con Amore, five-year-old daughter of High Cloud Billet Doux, which J. W. T. Martin has made eligible for the Arlington Matron Handicap. Audley Farm bred Con Amore and risked her in a claiming race as a three-year-old. Martin saw possibilities in her and claimed her and, for this Maryland owner, she has won a number of races including the American Legion Handicap at Saratoga.
