NEW ORLEANS TURF NOTES k s Pending selection of a trainer for the stable, J. Bainton is looking after the racers in the Four Oaks Stock Farm Stable of H. C. Murnan of Mobile. E. Snyder recently resigned as trainer of the stable. James Burke has been engaged to ride the crack Sazerac in the Louisiana Derby. With Knebelkamp and Morris Hoops a certain starter in the stake, A. B. Letellier was unable to use Charles Landolt and lost no time signing the capable Burke. John K. Walbridge, of Saratoga Springs, stopped off here for a few days. Mr. Walbridge has been on a southern tour for some weeks and, after spending a few days here leaves for his home by motor. Lucky Tom and Renaissance, J. J. Robinsons three-year-olds which were defeated in the Florida Derby, were unloaded at tho Fair Grounds Tuesday morning along with five Greentree Stable two-year-olds, consigned to J. S. Middleton. They stood the long trip from Miami well. The Robinson colts will attempt to redeem themselves in the 0,000 added Louisiana Derby, to be run Saturday, March 19, closing day of the meeting.
